This collaboration creates new opportunities for African markets to acquire brand-new buses manufactured and/or assembled locally, which will significantly enhance both public and private transportation across the continent.

Positioning itself as an importer, exporter, and now a bus distributor in Africa, SourceX is committed to providing the highest quality services in the region and to ensure that each bus sold meets or exceeds the highest international quality and safety standards.

SourceX’s partner guarantees adherence to ISO-certified production facilities in Johannesburg and the Western Cape. Together, these facilities produce 20 units per month for both right- and left-hand drive markets, utilizing over 80% locally sourced materials (independently verified) for the bodywork of all buses.

“Government and Private enterprises can now place their bus orders directly with SourceX,” said Pax Buhamba-Hamba, Executive Director of SourceX.

In alignment with its long-term vision, SourceX is also actively exploring partnerships with governments and the private sector to establish other local bus manufacturing in Africa. This initiative aims to drive economic growth and create employment opportunities across the region.

As part of its strategic roadmap, SourceX is projecting the sale of 150 buses in 2025-2026.
